About Me

I'm a wedding and portrait photographer in Southern California, documenting weddings in Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego County and worldwide. I love to travel! I strive to capture the complete story of every wedding I photograph and infuse a bit of fashion - inspired portraiture into my photojournalistic coverage. What I love most about my amazing job is capturing the love and connection between couples and their friends and family! I feel so fortunate to be a part of the amazing team at Next Exit Photography Studio! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or leave a comment! Comments make me happy! ;)

Thank you for visiting my BLOG!

Sara & Dan Engagement

Sara & Dan are an amazing couple, and Isaac and I had so much fun exploring Laguna Beach with the two of them! They are getting married in Michigan, so unfortunately, I won’t be documenting their wedding day. However, I was elated when they asked me to do their engagement session along the beach (so they could show their family in Michigan just how awesome So Cal sunsets on the beach can be) ;)

Tanya & Ed’s Engagement

Tanya & Ed are such a wonderful couple, and they were even up for a little adventure to get some amazing photos in front of an old barn (which is really a rarity in the middle of Orange County). I can’t wait for their wedding later on this year.

Persepolis

I just watched Persepolis for the first time last night, and the movie was absolutely gorgeous, poignant, moving, and unbelievably creative. It is based on the autobiographical graphic memoir of Marjane Satrapi, who grows up in Iran, witnessing the beginnings of the Iran/Iraq war, and is sent off to Europe by her parents to escape the effects of it. She returns to her country to find that everything she knew had changed, and struggles to find a place to fit in. It is animated film that is undeniably human. It’s definitely not for everyone, but it is a must see if you like a good independent or foreign flick.

Keriann & Keith’s Wedding!

A few weeks ago, Keriann and Keith were married at the Oceanview Room in San Diego. They chose to see each other beforehand, so we had plenty of time to get amazing images of the two of them around the base and Cabrillo National Monument! These two are so perfect for each other, and they are two of the nicest people! Isaac and I had such a great time with all of their family and friends - and they knew how to party! Here are just a few of my favorites…and lots of romantics for good measure ;)

The first time they saw each other…I love how excited Keith is!

I love this moment Isaac caught between Keriann and her dad right before he walked her down the isle!

Sara & Dan’s Engagement teaser

I’m a tad behind on the blogging! I’ve just been shooting way too many awesome sessions and weddings lately - and even some head shots and child portrait sessions! Whew! I love it! Keriann and Keith’s amazing wedding is coming up next (thank you for your patience with the teasers)!
Here’s a little preview of Sara and Dan’s awesome engagement session in Laguna Beach - they are too cute!
