Chris & Jenny’s Engagement Session

Alright, this is going to be a monster post! My cousin, Chris, is getting married this December, and I’m so excited to photograph their wedding. These two are perfect for each other, and it was nice just getting to hang out with the two of them at the beach. I got to know Jenny better, and I must say, I’m so stoked that they found each other. Thanks for the good time, guys. We must do Gina’s pizza again sometime. These are just a few of my favorites!

Oh yes, there was some tackle football action

Gorgeous golden sunset light!

Tara & Chris Wedding

Tara and Chris were married on the most popular wedding date of the year! 07-07-07. The weather was perfect in La Jolla, and the La Jolla Bridge club was an amazing venue location with sweeping views of the ocean. These two are perfect for each other, and I’m so fortunate to have met them and documented their day! These are just a few of my favorites….

Cristine & Michael’s Wedding

Last Saturday, I had the opportunity to shoot with Kathleen Duxbury , an amazing photographer based in New Jersey. She specializes in Infrared photography, so check out her website to see her latest works from her travels to Ireland. Cristine & Michael were married at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in San Diego. The weather was a sweltering 90 degrees! The church was so unique, aged, and colorful. It looked like it came straight out of a Jared Hess film! Their reception was held at the Museum of Photographic Arts at Balboa Park. The venue had such an elegant, gallery vibe! There was even an old school photo booth set up for guests to take photos to put in the guest-signing book. The whole day was filled with love and laughter and moving speeches. Here are a few of my favorites.

Tara & Chris Engagement Session

I’m documenting Tara & Chris’ wedding this upcoming Saturday (they are my 7-7-07 bride & groom!). I’m so glad they decided to have a last minute engagement session before the wedding, since it gave Isaac and I a chance to get to know the two of them and their adorable daughters! We went to Balboa Park in San Diego for their session, and it is such an amazing place. There is interesting architecture, color, sculptures, and gardens, all in one convenient location-I wish there was something similar in Orange County. Thank you guys for the awesome conversation and sushi! I’m looking forward to next Saturday!
