Nicole & Ryan’s Wedding

Last week, I had the pleasure of shooting Nicole & Ryan’s wedding at the historic Chapman Chapel in Orange. They are such a sweet, down-to-earth couple, and oh so photogenic together! Here are some of my favorites from their day….

Christina & Mike’s Wedding

Christina & Mike had an intimate ceremony in Poway and held their reception at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse in San Diego. We started at the Old Poway park to get some gorgeous images of the two of them amongst the old trees. They are two of the nicest people, and I had such an awesome time with them the whole day. And they are amazing dancers! For the reception, they changed into their dancing shoes, and surprised everyone with a Tango for their first dance. I hope you guys are having a blast escaping the So Cal heat in Alaska!

Their rings came from Israel, and had a message inscribed to each other in Hebrew…

Christina & Mike coreographed a tango for their first dance….these two can dance!

I’ve Been Tagged…

There’s been some blog tagging going on amongst photographer’s blogs, and I’ve been singled out by Susan Yee of En Pointe Photography. The rules are that I must list 8 random, possibly embarassing, things about myself and then tag 8 other photographers to do the same. I think I’ll play along ;) Ok, some random things about myself….

random fact #1) Currently, I’m addicted to Quorn vegetarian Chicken Patties…I eat them almost every day
random fact #2) I have this habbit of finding something I really love and eating it almost every day until I’m absolutely sick of it (Quorn Chick Patties will probably be in this category very soon).
random fact #3) I don’t watch TV-Isaac and I own one, but only watch a movie every now or then or an episode from the Cat & Adi of Next Exit Photography

Road Trippin’

It was amazing to get a bit of fresh air traveling down the coast through Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County. Once we got to Paso Robles, you could smell the earth, the cool wet earth underneath the crops and trees! That is one thing I miss living in Orange County. We didn’t get a chance to check out any wineries, but we did stop at the famous Anderson’s Pea soup. We pulled over when we saw an old abandoned diner. I’m magnetically drawn to peeling paint, texture, and color….

Erin & Adrian’s Wedding

Erin and Adrian were married last weekend in beautiful Paso Robles at Rancho Llano de Los Robles. I feel so fortunate to have been able to travel to wine country to document their wedding. Their energy together is contagious, and the two of them were so excited and beaming the whole day!
Suzanne and Miguel, heads of Rancho Llano, are amazing people and they made sure the day went flawlessly. Here are just a few favorites.

Adrian’s father performed a traditional Mayan wedding blessing during the ceremony…
