It was amazing to get a bit of fresh air traveling down the coast through Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo County. Once we got to Paso Robles, you could smell the earth, the cool wet earth underneath the crops and trees! That is one thing I miss living in Orange County. We didn’t get a chance to check out any wineries, but we did stop at the famous Anderson’s Pea soup. We pulled over when we saw an old abandoned diner.
