Ok, Sorry for the long hiatus from blogging, but Isaac and I needed a mini vacation & Puerto Vallarta was amazing! We got to explore many different parts of the region, from Sayulita to Yelapa! I’m still going through the many, many images from our trip, but I will post pics of our explorations as well as the wedding & day after session by next week. Also, there is a new blog in the works which I’ll be announcing next week as well, so stay tuned!

Now onto the good stuff! Amy & Peter were married at a gorgeous private residence in Palm Springs & their wedding was the perfect blend of relaxed atmosphere, beautiful details, and amazing food catered by AOC! Peter and Amy couldn’t be more perfect for each other! They fell in love at a vineyard, so it is fitting that they both run and own their own vineyard in Lompoc, California called Black Sheep Finds. If you’re looking for a good find - their wine is delicious!

Hola! Isaac and I just arrived in Puerto Vallarta to shoot a destination wedding! I’ll definitely be posting images of our trip, but so far, I love it here! The old doors, brick walls, and cobblestone streets are just begging me to go on a photo safari! The weather is a balmy 85 degrees and outside our condo is the sounds of parrots and salsa music! I’m so excited! I may not respond to e-mails as quickly as I normally do…Also, I don´t get any phone reception, so if you´ve tried to reach me via phone this past week, I won´t be able to respond till Thursday. Please e-mail me instead, since I´m able to check my e-mails twice a day here!

Lori and Richard´s wedding was absolutely gorgeous! I´ll post some teasers later in the week, but we just finished up with a “day after/trash the dress” session today in a small village just North of Puerto Vallarta called Bucerias. It was so much fun! I LOVE destination weddings! Can`t wait to do more this year

Megan and Andrew are so cute together! The weather decided to be cold and overcast in La Jolla, but they totally went with it and looked like they stepped out of a Banana Republic ad with their warm coats! I’m so excited to be shooting their wedding at the awesome El Cortez later this year!

Kayce & Greg had a beautiful, intimate wedding, surrounded be the tranquil and romantic scenery of Carmel By The Sea! There ceremony and reception was held at the Highlands Inn, and they did a spectacular job - the food was absolutely exquisite & the views breathtaking! After the wedding, we got to drive to an open field of wild flowers, over looking the coast (complete with a little, rusty barn). A photographer’s dream! Here are some highlights…
