Mariesam + Tommy | wedding

MarieSam + Tommy’s wedding was amazing! The setting was breathtaking! Akumal is probably one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen - warm blue/green, water, a small town, and wildlife galore - Isaac and I were in photography heaven! The best thing of all was that MarieSam + Tommy and their family are the nicest people ever, and made us feel as if we were a part of the family. They had a Mayan ceremony, which was full of love and warmth, lots of laughing and tears, and bits of flower petals and water thrown at the MarieSam + Tommy! Their reception was held at the Centro Ecological Akumal and the delicious food and coordinating was done by Jen at the Turtle Bay Cafe.
I’ll post more of their day after session in a bit, but here’s just a little teaser for now..

MarieSam - I honestly don't know what to say ~ when I first saw your blog, I cried. Like a baby, but with utter joy. :) These images reminded me of how happy I was to be surrounded by all those we loved in the most beautiful place on earth. The mark of a good photographer is one who can bring you back to that moment and revive your senses ~ the smells, the feelings, the taste, the sights, the experience as a whole. Stephanie and Isaac you have put an exclamation point on what we already thought was the most wonderful day of our lives. Thank you for being our eyes during all these special moments ~ these are photos we will cherish forever. You guys are beyond incredible!
