Joanna + Brandon | wedding

Joanna + Brandon were married at the Skirball Cultural Center, and they could not have asked for a more perfect day filled with lots of love from family and friends - there were so many South African accents around me, I could have listened to them talk for hours! They had the most amazing details, from a Stewart’s Soda Bar to custom made wooden runners for their ceremony, they probably could have their own blog post! It was such a pleasure working with such a dream team of vendors….

Jessica - Wow! Amazing pics--some of my favortie of yours so far. That dress is STUNNING! I meant to make a comment on yoru previous post--it has really amazing colors... lovely bokeh and texture. Joanna - Thanks all for the compliments on the colors, dress, etc though of course Steph makes it all look even better! The dress is Amsale. http://www.amsale.com/bridal/amsalecollection/080707/celine.shtml The belt is modified from the original dress. Those flowers came on a cream colored gros-grain ribbon and the belt didnt "pop." So, I searched high and low for celadon silk (and then found my husband a matching tie) and had the sash made. The woman at Saks then put the flowers onto the sash, along with tiny little clear push-in buttons so that it would stay in place on the dress. Lots of work...but all worth it!

jodi - absolutely breathtaking!!! I love the attention to detail and the pictures captured it beautifully. The place cards are wonderful. I'm looking to mimic them for my wedding. Are those dried mums or fresh ones? If dried, where did you get them? If fresh, when did you glue them on the place cards? thanks in advance for any tips!!! Such a lovely wedding.
