inspired by cotton

While walking about in San Francisco, we explored the Anthropologie up there, and I fell in love with their wall display of vintage bottles and raw cotton! I think it would make such a dreamy, rustic addition to wedding decor, or a very unique alternative to an all flower arrangement!

Cristy Cross - Stephanie, I think it is so fun that you fell in love with the cotton. I am from Texas where the cotton fields are right and left everywhere you look and my dad used to be a cotton farmer and my grandpa and my uncle. You have opened my eyes to not take for granted the cotton that is right in my backyard. I'm sure we will be seeing cotton at a wedding soon instead of flowers. All because you mentioned it :)

Kathryn - This is stunning! It makes me miss Mississippi! I feel an inspiration board coming on...

James Bennett - I love their window displays. Side Note: Is the blurring in your photos a post-process or are you using a lens buddy?? Or something similar?

Clayton Austin - Um, yeah, thats killer!

Caroline Ghetes - Um, Anthropology is frickin' awesome and I too dig their entire home section. They've always got such great ideas and everytme I go in there I take mental pictures of everything as if I were doing a shoot. They rock, thanks for posting these! LOVE the cotton display!

Stephanie - Cristy - I would love to see those cotton fields! James - these images were taken with a tilt shift lens. Kathryn - I can't wait to see what you come up with. Clayton + Caroline - thanks!

brittany - Doesn't Anthropologie always have the best windows!?!? I honestly wish I could live in the store. Thanks for sharing this fab shot!

biz - We almost got married in a juke joint in mississippi and I wanted to use cotton as the bouquets.... neither thing happened and we ended up going with more tradition stuff... but i really love this.
