Lisa + Hunter are absolutely perfect for each other, and it was such an honor documenting their wedding day! Their ceremony was at the San Diego Temple and reception at the Balboa Bay Club overlooking the bay. Lisa wore a gorgeous lace Monique Lhuillier gown, and LA Partie Events did an amazing job with the florals! I loved the flowers and yellow and gray color palette at their wedding! The super cute cake was by Sweet Art. Guests took home little boxes of salt water taffy and other candies at the end of the night, and the couple made their escape at the end of the night in a gondola, complete with a cozy blanket.

We were so excited when Annie + Brandon asked us shoot a day after session (well, more like a year after session) in beautiful Carmel. I absolutely love the Northern California Coast! On their one year anniversary, we started their day after session a the La Playa Hotel where they were married, and then explored the coastline from there. We had only spoken to Annie + Brandon through e-mail, and it was so nice to finally meet them in person and be witness their sweet love for another. I also love Annie’s style - the combination of lace, vintage birdcage veil, and a soft bouquet of garden roses is just so romantic. Annie is an event planner in the Seattle area and documents her wedding inspiration on her blog, Mary You Me.

Wow, between traveling and all the weddings and engagement sessions we’ve been shooting lately, we’re totally behind on blog posts! But, we promise to post tons of stuff this week! We had so much fun with Janine + Jeremy, what with our mutual obsession with the show Mad Men and retro hats. Here are just a few of our favorites from their session….

So, this morning Isaac woke up and as usual went outside to water the garden….and then he noticed that half of one of our tomato plants was missing! The leaves were there yesterday, and yet this morning they had vanished. You can see the destruction documented below…
Then Isaac discovers the culprit working on yet another one of our tomato plants….the biggest, fattest caterpillar EVER! I mean, look at the size of this guy! He deserved his own photo shoot…
Oh, I just discovered through some google searching that this guy is a pesky tobacco hornworm, not a caterpillar!
