Carrie Coleman - One thing that inspires me is most definitely my mother. I am one of seven children and my mother has been extremely influential in my life. She has been through much hardship throughout her life and yet you would never find her in a sad or downcast mood. She lost her mother when she was in her 20's and even though she didn't have her mother her entire life, she has managed to raise 7 children into a great group of young adults. I love you mom! http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs104.snc3/15144_221154212541_840397541_4175881_6902301_n.jpg http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs084.snc3/15144_221949007541_840397541_4185792_430824_n.jpg

christina - The sound of birds chirping in the morning! I have missed them over the winter.

Monique - People watching inspires me. And that includes reading other people's blogs..an electronic form that suits my schedule. I especially love to look at what people are wearing. I am a big believer of "paying it forward." When I witness a smile or hello from a stranger or someone does something as small as offers me a coupon inline at the checkout it inspires me to be a happier, kinder individual. :)

Tink - What inspires me is "friends that walk in when the rest of the world walks out."

Green, pink, blue, brown, orange, purple, can all be found by simply looking down in the grass where the flowers grow. Beauty is the Earth, and instead of looking for beauty in artificial replications, one can simply look at the world around them. Love&peace.

rachell lauer - My inspiration comes from my beast friend Kyra. How does someone capture using words the significance of a honored friendship, the love of that friend, the lovefor that friend? Do nouns like gratitude, joyfulness, inspiration really describe the sensations that rush to greet me when I see her smile or hear her voice on the other end of the line? I...t’s an ethereal sentiment. Yet, if I painted a picture of Kyra, she’d be an orb whose colors radiate and mingle with the environment, spawning mini-me orbs congregating to emulate her exuberance and expansive generosity. If I baked a sweet of Kyra, she’d be a savory cupcake with a sophisticated filling that surprises, delights and makes the brain wonder what ingredients have been used. A hint of toasted coconut, perhaps? The finest dark chocolate glaze instead of piled-high frosting? Something with a hint of sour to keep the palate attuned to the taste, teaching the tongue to savor the layers of flavor. It’s not a child’s cupcake—it holds the festivity of youth with the sensorial hedonism in which artists are wont to linger. If I cried a tear of Kyra, it would be of a copious number vacillating between tears of laughter at the humor in every struggle, and tears of humanity for the trials of the soul, swelling the eyelids in a way that makes the eyes more beautiful to watch. And if I were to create a friend of Kyra, she’d be smart as a whip, a culinary master, a former party clown, a present wonder, a pretty Chiquita, a loyal being. She’d be standing in the kitchen making the world’s most robust and nutritious salad. I'd sit on the counter, and together we'd pour over our recent triumphs and disappointments, before eating with our fingers, challenging one another on our vocabularies, and honoring what is great in being a woman—having the friendship of another. The friendship of Kyra, who by setting such an admirable example, inspires me to be a better friend. And words will never paint a glorious enough picture of this woman!

The 6 year old stops riding his bike when he sees the 5 year old has fallen and is crying. The 2 year old shush's the baby when she starts to fuss in her car seat. So cute that irregardless of the cold weather, you wear the dress and the heels anyway. What inspires me is that the city is covered in snow for so long that the minute it's gone, everything is new again. cath hunter - Statistics everywhere are constantly telling us that our society is going down hill. Crime rates among teens are high as well as divorce, teen pregnancies, violence in children (videogame and media related) and the list goes on. I am not denying the validity of such statistics because overall I agree with them. However, throughout all this negativity, I see that some things remain intact. For instance, the small things make all the difference. “Random acts of kindness” so to speak. I was at a restaurant the other day and the waiting area was extremely overcrowded. An elderly couple (very ElderLY) came in looking confused as to where the line started or even where the host podium was. Right away a young man saw their confusion and walked them to where they needed to be, and when they turned back around to go to the waiting area, another couple stood up to give them their seats. Although this behavior is implied, it was inspiring to watch. It really moved me and since then I have been making an effort to continue this sort of action.

Samantha Cabrera - I love the colors cream and blush pink, they always inspire me.

Lisa - it is the little things in life that inspire me- my daughter's smile, smell of coffee, savoring a piece of dark chocolate. anyone can be inspired by snow capped mountains or a harvest moon; but the joy that comes from the everyday can make every moment of one's life truly magical.

Danielle - the sacrifice Christ made for us on the cross is true and ultimate, undeniably...inspiration. everything else fades away. but one thing remains...love.

Miranda - My students inspire me.

Christie - The smell of Spring in the air first thing in the morning. You know it will be here so very soon. That is what inspires me. Your clothes and the style you depict helps too!

Caroline Beausejour - I'm always inspired by a piece of music that fits my mood of the moment. I've been hooked on "moonlight Sonata" from Bethoveen. It's just umbeleivable that such a melody so soothing to the ear has been writen by someone who is deff.

Cynthia Walters - I would have to say nature inspires me. Nothing more beautifully out there than what mother earth gave us.
