Last week, we visited San Francisco to shoot Kristen + Jeff’s engagement session. We explored golden gate state park and a few other amazing locations and the fog just kept rolling in. We were right by the golden gate bridge and couldn’t see one bit of it! Can I shoot in fog more often, pretty please! We had such a fun afternoon with these two and cannot wait to be back their again for their wedding later this year!!
We just got back from a whirlwind couple of weeks - from Maui one week to Santa Maria and then San Francisco! We have so many shoots to blog and exciting news to share! The Ruche Summer Lookbook vol 2 just launched this week. It’s the second day of our shoot in the sweet little town of Julian, CA. We were able to take full advantage of all the apple trees in bloom all around the mountain town! Ruche has such an amazing selection of summer dresses and cute ruffled tops right now! We had an amazing team for this shoot - make-up and hair by the super talented KC Witkamp.
I can’t help but smile when I look at the images from Sharon + Alex’s engagement session. These two are are so cute! Isaac and I had such a fun session with these two, and I loved the attention to detail in their wardrobe and props - from Alex’s bow tie to the two giant yellow balloons, which are a theme in their invitations. I could have easily blogged their whole session, however, here are just a few of our favorites, along with a short stop motion video we shot at the end of the day…
Mariko + Mike are awesome…and two of the nicest people ever, and they’re both doctors, and they are madly in love! Crazy huh. I for one think a reality show about their lives would be amazing. I loved all the props they brought, including the “love” cookies that Mariko made… love is even better with sprinkles!
