Jaime + Jess’ wedding took place at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara, CA on the Fourth of July, and their wedding was filled with so many meaningful details and lovely old and new traditions…Jaime’s mothers dress was worked into the fabric of the chupa they were married under, and instead of a having a traditional bouquet made, Jaime had her closest friends hand her different varieties of white flowers as she walked down the isle, and they were tied together when she reached Jess. Even the bright orange VW bus, which is owned by their close friend, made its appearance. The day could not have been more perfect! The couple entered their reception on chairs straight into the most insane hora ever, and the night ended with a view of the fireworks display over the pier in Santa Barbara…a perfect end to a most lovely wedding! So excited to announce that Jessica + Paul’s destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta is published in the Fall/Winter 2010 issue of Destination I Do Magazine!! This issue hits newsstands on August 31 and is just chock full of lovely eye candy…you won’t want to miss it!

The day after Jim + Lina’s wedding, we spent the afternoon with them exploring the Makena coast and laughing and digging our toes in the sand. What an incredible weekend spent in Maui with this lovely couple…..

We flew out to Maui to document Lina + Jim’s amazing wedding! Their ceremony and reception took place at the Sugarman Estate, a gorgeous spot of land right on the water with the most amazing view of the ocean and the coastline along Makena. It was a perfect day, blue skies, sunshine, and gently swaying palm fronds…such a magical location for a wedding!  The day went off without a hitch with coordination by Evonne Wong from Events by Evonne. Lina’s awesome shoes are Badgley Mischka and her dress is Pronovias. Lina’s make-up was done by Jessica and hair by Dan Sanchez, flowers by Bella Bloom, the lovely cake was by Maui Wedding Cakes - I love their cute hand painted cake toppers. Just one image for now…we’ve been in Washington for the past several days shooting a very lovely wedding in Lake Chelan and visiting friends in Seattle. I think one of my favorite past times is exploring a new place on foot…just walking around the city. There’s just so much to see and take in and so much beauty around us that would be overlooked otherwise. Here’s a shot of Lake Chelan (the water is really that blue-green!) We can’t wait to share many more images from our travels…
