Ashley + Derek are a such a lovely couple, and we had so much fun at their session!  We can’t wait to shoot their wedding at the Darlington House later this year.

A continuation with my love affair with yellow mustard flowers!  Laurie + Andy are absolutely perfect for each other + we can’t wait to document their wedding day at Marvimon later this month!

We met Jodi + Kurt last week on a rainy afternoon for their engagement session - and since we booked their wedding over the phone - we were so happy to finally meet and hang out with these two! Jodi + Kurt are awesome wedding photographers in Virginia, and we are so excited to be documenting their wedding day this year on a family ranch in Virginia - complete with home made pies, vintage books + tea cups!! We cannot wait! After their session, we all went out for yummy vegetarian food and coffee to discuss photography, food (they are even bigger foodies than we are! awesome!), and old kung fu movies. Have I mentioned that we love our couples! On another note, I was so ecstatic to see that the yellow mustard flowers are finally blooming in Orange County again….Spring is definitely my favorite time of year! =)

Fannie + Leonard are just awesome! Hands down, that’s the best word to describe them… We had an adventure hiking through mud, crossing perilous bridges, and passing through barbed wire all for the sake of good light and lovely images, and they just went with it with total trust. I love when couples are up for something unique, even if it calls for a little adventure! Here are just a few of our favorites!

Jen + Chris are the sweetest couple! When Jen mentioned she loved nature and red hearts and wanted to incorporate them into their engagement session, I immediately envisioned the paper hearts scene below. Not only are they awesome, they came with cupcakes for me + Isaac, which makes them extra awesome! We can’t wait for their wedding this May!
