Ruche just launched the Back to School lookbook today! I’m in love with so many of these outfits…oh so lovely and perfect for Fall. Now that we’ve finally had some hot Summer weather here in Southern California…I might be looking forward to some nice cool temperatures, so I can wear one of these cute coats or layered looks. We shot this preview to Fall catalog all in studio…and there will be another Fall series out next month! Mai + Josh created the two awesome backdrops for the studio, one using chalkboard paint and their own old school paperwork, and the other out of tons of post it notes and paper square cutouts! Hair + make-up by the awesome KC Witkamp and the lovely model is Martha from Click Models. You can click on the link or the image below to view the full lookbook.

these first two are test film shots taken with my Contax 645the rest of the lookbook was shot with the Canon 5D mark II and 85mm 1.2 and 50mm 1.2 lenses

Leslie + Zach were married at one of my favorite Southern California venues, Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu. Their wedding was a wonderful celebration of their love, filled with friends and family and a whole lot of dancing. The Flashdance kept the party going all night long! The Ruche Summer Lookbook vol 2 just launched this week. It’s the second day of our shoot in the sweet little town of Julian, CA. We were able to take full advantage of all the apple trees in bloom all around the mountain town! Ruche has such an amazing selection of summer dresses and cute ruffled tops right now! We had an amazing team for this shoot - make-up and hair by the super talented KC Witkamp.

We shot Jenna + Andrew’s engagement session just a few days before their wedding, and it was such a blast getting to know these two! These two have such a sweet love for one another…I’ll be posting their wedding images very soon!
