Ruche just launched the Back to School lookbook today! I’m in love with so many of these outfits…oh so lovely and perfect for Fall. Now that we’ve finally had some hot Summer weather here in Southern California…I might be looking forward to some nice cool temperatures, so I can wear one of these cute coats or layered looks. We shot this preview to Fall catalog all in studio…and there will be another Fall series out next month! Mai + Josh created the two awesome backdrops for the studio, one using chalkboard paint and their own old school paperwork, and the other out of tons of post it notes and paper square cutouts! Anyone else obsessed with this online magazine?! They find the best items! I fell in love with these super cute felt nesting bowls and this sunny yellow wallpaper, which would be perfect for my “someday” bathroom….Hmmm, some day! One of the images from the Ruche Fall Lookbook shoot was used in Neet Magazine’s September issue!!

Way back in March, Isaac and I took a road trip up the coast to Portland + Corvallis, and along the way we drove through miles and miles of almond orchards in bloom! The orchards were magically beautiful, and I couldn’t help but wish I could have shot a wedding in those fields or just a sweet, totally in love couple. The place was so peaceful and romantic, complete with a gentle breeze and soft, white petals falling to the ground. So, if anyone is ever thinking of shooting in an orchard in full bloom, I’m your photographer!

While walking about in San Francisco, we explored the Anthropologie up there, and I fell in love with their wall display of vintage bottles and raw cotton! I think it would make such a dreamy, rustic addition to wedding decor, or a very unique alternative to an all flower arrangement!
