I’m honored to have some of my bouquet shots featured in the latest issue of Bride and Bloom magazine. All bouquets were designed by the talented Carissa of JL Floral Design for an Eco-Chic collaboration for Utterly Engaged! The first bouquet is dusty miller foliage and cream balsa wood flowers, and the next bouquet is created with blush parrot tulips and white astilbe, and the third bouquet is made with ivory tulips and butter yellow ranunculas. Carissa is an amazing floral artist and event stylist, and if any brides are still looking for a florist, I can’t recommend her enough!!

Words cannot express how beautiful and perfect Erica + Abrahm’s wedding was and how amazing their love is for one another - these two melt my heart! They were married on Valentine’s Day in the gorgeous, romantic mountain town of San Miguel De Allende, Mexico and their wedding took place at a historic colonial villa called Casa Chorro. The wedding theme of orange + gray, succulents, wood and French linen went so perfect with the venue! Erica was stunning in a lace Monique Lhuillier dress, and she had her Kate Spade shoes dyed the perfect shade of orange to match their wedding colors. Their wedding coordinator, Guadalupe Alvarez from Penzi Weddings, did an amazing job of coordinating the three days of celebration. Not only did she provide the flowers, decor, and Benito the tequila donkey, but her team built the whole raised reception dance floor on the villa grounds in less than two days! Right after Erica + Abe’s ceremony, the couple and all their guests walked the streets along with the tequila donkey, dancing to mariachi music and taking shots of tequila - an excellent way to get the party started! Delicious local + organic catering by The Restaurant. Oh, and their reception was an insane party - I mean everyone, everyone danced the night away to out-of-this-world mixes by The Flashdance …and the party kept going to the wee hours with only a moments pause to watch a celebratory fireworks display or to each some late night al pastor tacos! Thank you Erica + Abe for not only having us document your wedding day, but also helping us discover San Miguel De Allende - a place that we most definitely fell in love with!

We’re back from San Miguel De Allende, Mexico, and we can’t wait to share all the images from Erica + Abe’s amazing wedding! Here’s a little teaser with Benito the tequila burro!

Angela + David were married in New Mexico at the Tamaya Resort in Santa Ana Pueblo. David is also a wedding and commercial photographer, and we are always so honored when we are commissioned by fellow photographers! It was an amazing winter wedding, from the stunning desert and forest backdrop to the fragrant gardenia bouquet. It was also our first time shooting in a much colder climate (I’ll admit, I’m a spoiled Southern Californian when it comes to weather), but I absolutely loved the winter light in New Mexico and the pastel colors and cold crisp air! We were so glad that Angela + David were up to exploring the forest adjacent to the resort in near freezing temperatures! They are such a wonderful couple, and we were so honored to document their love for one another and all the joy surrounding their wedding day.

April + Kit’s winter wedding was filled with bright red and white and lots of love and laughter. They first met in class at Cal Lutheran University, so it was only natural that they get married on campus at the Samuelson Chapel. Their reception was held at the Westlake Village Inn Apirl’s dress is a  Sottero + Midgely and her awesome red shoes are by Chinese Laundry. Here are just a few of our favorites!
