The day after Jim + Lina’s wedding, we spent the afternoon with them exploring the Makena coast and laughing and digging our toes in the sand. What an incredible weekend spent in Maui with this lovely couple…..

We flew out to Maui to document Lina + Jim’s amazing wedding! Their ceremony and reception took place at the Sugarman Estate, a gorgeous spot of land right on the water with the most amazing view of the ocean and the coastline along Makena. It was a perfect day, blue skies, sunshine, and gently swaying palm fronds…such a magical location for a wedding!  The day went off without a hitch with coordination by Evonne Wong from Events by Evonne. Lina’s awesome shoes are Badgley Mischka and her dress is Pronovias. Lina’s make-up was done by Jessica and hair by Dan Sanchez, flowers by Bella Bloom, the lovely cake was by Maui Wedding Cakes - I love their cute hand painted cake toppers. Leslie + Zach were married at one of my favorite Southern California venues, Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu. Their wedding was a wonderful celebration of their love, filled with friends and family and a whole lot of dancing. The Flashdance kept the party going all night long! Coordination by Michelle from Mint Julep.

Mariko + Mike’s beautiful Spring wedding was so much fun to be a part of. These two are so in love….they could not stop smiling all day long!  Mariko + Mike were married at Calamigos Equestrian
amongst stables and tall oak trees. I’m a huge fan of Hayao Miyazaki films, so of course I loved the Totoro cake toppers!

Jen + Chris’s wedding was such a fun celebration of their love! They were married in front of an old adobe at Tesoro Adobe State Park. Jen works for Tarina Tarantino and mentioned that there would be a lot of sparkly fun details in her wedding, so we knew the wedding would be unique + fun with lots of personal touches. I think their wedding decor really reflected their lighthearted spirits - there were pinwheels lining the aisle and all around the reception, handmade mustaches and “love” signs for their photobooth, custom jeweled initials for each of the bridesmaid’s bouquets, and a “kissing tree,” among other details. Each of the guests received ornate tiles that matched Jen + Chris’s color scheme. Delicious purple and orange cake pops and cake by Sweet and Saucy Shop! All in all a wonderful day!
