About Me

Stephanie Williams Photography is a husband + wife photography team inspired by love and life. We're a wedding and portrait photography studio in Southern California, documenting weddings locally and worldwide. We love to travel! My husband Isaac works alongside me at every wedding - and he makes an occassional appearance on the blog as well! We strive to capture the complete story of every wedding we photograph and infuse a bit of fashion - inspired portraiture into our photojournalistic coverage. What I love most about my amazing job is capturing the love and connection between couples and their friends and family! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or leave a comment! Comments make me happy! ;)

Sharon + Alex | day after + mentor session

A few months ago, we did a full day mentor session for two lovely photographers from Texas, Kelsey and Sonja of Color and Dust Photography. Sharon + Alex were kind enough to have their day after session be part of the mentor session, and we had a blast at the beach with a little blue ‘63 VW bug (Um, can I please have one of these in each color)!

We’re in Taiwan!

First off, I want to wish everyone back home a Happy Thanksgiving! We’re currently in Taiwan to document Tina + Brian’s amazing wedding day and our last wedding of 2010! Yesterday was our first full day here in Taipei, and we’ve already had a pretty awesome adventure…walking all around the downtown area, taking the gondola to the tea town of Maokong, and visiting the bustling night market of Shilin all while using the really awesome public transit and pretty much having no idea what people are saying! The only Chinese/Taiwanese words we know are “thank you” and “good day!” We’ll have pretty limited internet access while we’re here, but we’ll do our best to get back to everyone by the time we come back on Dec 3rd. Here’s a quick shot of the foggy city view from the Maokong gondola….

Bethany + Ethan | wedding

Bethany + Ethan had an intimate wedding celebration at Bethany’s childhood home in Escondido. Their wedding was filled with warm and personal touches and many, many details. Bethany’s mom hand sewn all the gorgeous quilts that were a main part of the homespun decor. Handmade vintage ribbons and banners were strewn about the house saying things like “celebrate” and “eat drink and be married!” Bethany’s wedding dress was custom made on Etsy, and all the flowers and vintage decor display was designed by the talented Annette Gomez. Guests wrote well wishes to the couple on a vintage typewriter during the cocktail hour, and a personal chef created the most delicious menu! The evening ended with family and friends dining in candle light under an old oak tree, and eating slices of lemon bars and organic banana cake!
