Sandy + Dave | wedding

Sandy and Dave are such beautiful people. They are both wedding photographers themselves, and they picked one of my favorite Los Angeles venues, the Adamson House in Malibu, so we knew everything would be picture perfect! Between the serene ocean view, sunny Spring day, and the lovely and crisp yellow + white decor, the day was not only gorgeous, but an amazing celebration of their love! Here are just a few of my favorite images from the day….oh, and the delicious dessert display with cake lollipops and cupcakes was by Melody of Sweet and Saucy Shop! So delicious! Make-up by Devon Duff.

Eco-Chic Bridal Fashion + Utterly Engaged

I feel like I have been waiting forever to blog these images! This shoot was a major collaboration for the e-zine Utterly Engaged - if you haven’t checked out this online magazine, please do. There are so many helpful articles on how to have an amazing, budget friendly wedding without skimping on the details. Issue #2 just launched this past week, and many of these images are featured in the e-zine. I really could not of asked for a better team of amazingly talented girls to work with! Bouquets and Floral + Table Design by JL Designs, delicious desserts by Sweet and Saucy Shop, make-up by Devon Duff and hair by Robin Lamph. The theme of the shoot was Eco-Chic, and everything detail and all the dresses were in some way eco friendly. The dresses were from designer Morgan Boszilkov of Natural Bridals and SarahSeven from Etsy. Both designers use eco-friendly, organic and sustainable materials to create their gorgeous designer dresses. Morgan believes that “sustainable fabrics are not limiting, but have endless potential for creating fabulous designs” and after seeing her creations, I couldn’t agree more. The tablescape and bouquets featured local, organic flowers and everlasting flowers carved from bolsa wood and the decor was vintage pieces found at thrift stores and flea markets. Hair pieces were by Batcakes Couture, Twigs + Honey, and Tessa Kim. Jewelry by Voleur de Bijoux, Joie de Vie, and Bella Lu and Me. There are so many images from this shoot, I’ll be blogging at least one or two more posts from it!

Bridal Fashion | vintage + rustic

There will be several of these posts I think, since I have so many gorgeous photos to share! This shoot was to showcase a few new designs from Amy Jo Tatum Bridal. What is so awesome about her work, is that she tries to use eco-friendly fabrics to construct her dresses. One of my favorites was made using a fine organic muslin - so simple, elegant, and summery. We’ll call this post part 1…
