Isaac and I love what we do and strive to capture each couple’s relationship, love, and unique personality. Sometimes just the littlest note can be so reaffirming and really make our day.  I recently received the sweetest e-mail from Katie + Jake that I wanted to share! Thank you for your kind words, Katie + Jake - we can’t wait to hang out with you guys again on your wedding day!

“Wow, we are blown away! Not only did we have a great time with you and Isaac, but the pictures look amazing (and yes, I have looked at all of them already)  I have been admiring your work on your blog the last few months, but it is truly exciting seeing ourselves on it.  We are a shy couple but we loved how you captured “us”. We had a blast and love the results! When we began planning the wedding, my mom told us that the only regret she had from her wedding back in ‘71 was that they  were very disappointed with the photographs.  I showed her the pictures and she was so happy.  She said they were romantic and lovely, which is exactly why we loved your work and went with you (not to mention you are a big etsy fan too!) We are even more excited about our wedding now!

We just go back from an amazing destination wedding in Hawaii and are leaving again to Puerto Vallarta for another destination wedding! I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with yummy food and loved ones. I know Isaac and I are so thankful for so many things this year…the ability to work together and do what we love with the person we love most, the awesome couples we get to photograph, and the growth of our business over this past year. Even though it’s now Winter, we’re still shooting quite a bit, so our “off season” isn’t for a little while longer! I wanted to share with you a teaser of each of the blog posts coming up, and there are quite a few! We absolutely love destination weddings and travel, but you end up having to play quite a bit of editing catch up in the process. Annie + Kevin are such an lovely couple! They are getting married next year at the amazing Villa Del Sol D’Oro - unfortunately, we were already booked for their wedding day, but we still got to shoot their engagement session. They brought some awesome props with them - a blanket and picnic basket and cupcakes!

Have I mentioned that I love my job! Last week, we shot April + Kit’s engagement session at the Mission and had such a blast with them - I loved all the outfits April picked out and all her cool Etsy finds for her hair (I think I’ve found someone with an equal Etsy obsession!) We can’t wait to shoot their wedding coming up in January - this year is going by so quickly! Time….please slow down for a bit…

Isaac and I had a blast hanging out with Julie + Patrick - non stop laughter and gorgeous scenery while hiking through fields and orange orchards! We cannot wait to shoot their wedding in Joshua Tree this year at Sacred Sands! It’s going to be amazing!
