It was such a pleasure documenting Jordan + Josh’s wedding, and it was such a lovely + perfect day. They were married at The Ocean Institute in Dana Point, which is a gorgeous venue right next to the ocean. The amazingly talented Jesi Haack coordinated the day flawlessly, and her + her team created the flowers, table decor, fabric runners, and many other amazing details. Here are just a few of our favorites!
Ashley + Jeff are the sweetest couple! They were married at one of my all time favorite venues, Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado, and I absolutely loved their wedding style - whimsical little birds were seen perched throughout the soft pink and yellow flowers, a sunny yellow VW bus was their getaway car, and there was a table set up for guest to write well wishes to the “love birds” on little bird shaped papers. Ashley + Jeff cut out the birds from recycled scrapbook paper. The beautiful flowers were all organic and designed by the talented Suzanne M Smith Designs and there were vintage mason jars and glass bottles holding flowers throughout the venue. Their adorable fabric bird cake topper was from Etsy designer Angela Cotton. In Ashley’s own words, “it was important to Jeff and I not only to have the wedding be personal and heart-felt but to reduce waste and be as environmentally friendly as possible. Really, in a lot of ways it was cheaper to do things this way; finding our containers at thrift stores, crafting many of the items, using etsy (for many things, including my jewelry), etc. Jeff and I are proud that we had our hand in most everything designed for the day. Our flowers were no more expensive than regular flowers would have been thanks to Suzanne.” I fell in love with Ashley’s dress, which was one of Maggie Sottero’s couture line. Needless to say, it was really hard to narrow down favorites for this post…

Isaac and I have known Deanna + Neal for many years, ever since our bartender/server days, so we were absolutely ecstatic to learn that they were getting married and even more thrilled when they asked us to document their wedding day! They are getting married in Napa at a gorgeous vineyard! Deanna + Neal, you two have such an awesome relationship, and we cannot wait till your wedding day!!
Cori & Brandon were married a few weeks ago at a beautiful private residence in Glendale. We had such a great time working with them, and I absolutely LOVED Cori’s distinctively-gorgeous dress from designer Chrissy Wai-Ching. The weather was perfect, and we couldn’t of asked for a better evening with so much natural light to shoot with! =)
