These two love birds were married at the Fullerton Arboretum, and their wedding was a perfect celebration of their love for one another! Besides being an awesome party, they had so many lovely details! Katie’s gorgeous dress and bolero is by Angelina Faccenda. The bridesmaid dresses were hand sewn by a family friend in the cutest blue seersucker material. The boys all wore matching vests and pants and each had their own vintage hat. Katie’s sunny yellow shoes are by Chinese Laundry. The bouquets were designed by Juleps Home and Floral. The girls started off the day at the Primping Parleur, and the evening ended with everyone dancing the night away!

We had so much fun exploring Hawaii’s North Shore for Naoko + Taejo’s day after session - there are so many gorgeous rural fields and nature areas to discover! On their wedding day, we ended up not having much time with them for romantic shots because the ceremony ran late, so were were very fortunate to have a day after session with them, without any of the wedding day’s time constraints. Not only are Naoko + Taejo chic and stylish, but they are so in love, which makes our job that much easier. Plus, they were up for anything, even *sneaking* across a field to shoot in an enormous field of sunflowers! Props to Naoko for walking half a mile in red dirt, in heels for these shots. Naoko’s first dress is by 3.1 Phillip Lim tied with a vintage belt by Shabon. Both headpieces were hand designed by a Korean designer at Shin Bu Bridal and her shoes are Prada. Also, many thanks to Christen of Nineteen Owls Photography, who gave us the full tour of the North Shore and helped us scout out so many awesome locations!

So, to start the new year off right, I’ve decided to catch up on all the blog posting…or at least attempt to. I have a few more lovely weddings to post from November + December coming soon! Now on to Erica + Abrahm’s  engagement session! Erica + Abe are the bee’s knees, and we cannot wait to shoot their wedding next month in San Miguel De Allende, Mexico. It’s is going to be amazing! Way back in March, Isaac and I took a road trip up the coast to Portland + Corvallis, and along the way we drove through miles and miles of almond orchards in bloom! The orchards were magically beautiful, and I couldn’t help but wish I could have shot a wedding in those fields or just a sweet, totally in love couple. The place was so peaceful and romantic, complete with a gentle breeze and soft, white petals falling to the ground. So, if anyone is ever thinking of shooting in an orchard in full bloom, I’m your photographer!
