Karen + Howard had a gorgeous + romantic wedding at the Athenaeum at Cal Tech in Pasadena. The day ran flawlessly with coordinator Betty Chiang of Paperie Sheep, who also did the lovely papers and invitations with the chandelier logo. The highlight of the night was when Karen surprised Howard with the USC marching band! The energy in the room was incredible! We heart Laura + Mark! They are an amazing couple, totally in love, and two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, and their wedding day was epic. You may remember them from their engagement session we shot in New York! There were a lot of unique details to their wedding, so I’ll try my best to list them all.  The wedding day started at The Standard hotel in Downtown LA, and then Laura was whisked to the church in a classic Rolls Royce. They  were married at The Church of the Angels in Pasadena - a gorgeous, ancient church with amazing stone and wood work and stained glass. Since Laura’s side is Mexican and Mark’s side is British, they made sure to incorporated their different backgrounds into their wedding day to make it a truly unique and personal wedding. There was a giant red Double Decker bus, mariachis, top hats, lucha libre masks, and British flags. On their exit from the church, their guest threw eco fetti, while mariachis played in the courtyard. Then the couple and the bridal party rode the Double Decker bus to a soda fountain shop for some sweet treats and then to Olvera Street for some photos. Their reception was held at the swanky Cicada in downtown LA, and right when we got there, we headed to the roof for some last minute sunset shots. Isaac and I had such a blast photographing their wedding - special thanks to Christen for coming out and helping document the wedding! Their wedding was coordinated by the uber talented Amanda of In The Now Weddings!

Lin + Ken were married at the Castle Green in Pasadena, and from the engagement session we already knew that their wedding would be filled with love and lots of laughter! Lin has a smile that can light up a room, and Ken looked so happy and their families were so warm, laid back and hilarious! This is why I shoot weddings…documenting people in love makes me all warm and fuzzy inside

Audrey + Brian had an amazing wedding at the Ambassador Campus in Pasadena. We knew after shooting their engagement session, that their wedding would be nothing short of incredible! They are such lovely people and both have amazing friends and families that made their wedding day so special. Audrey’s make-up was done by the talented Rachel Kim of Perpetual Artistry and hair by Erick Hoffman. There were way too many favorites for one post! I’ll start it off with Audrey’s awesome Badgley Mischka shoes!

I’ve definitely fallen behind in blogging this past week, but I promise, I have so many amazing weddings and engagements to blog! Mexico was amazing, and I’ll be posting some more images from our trip very soon. Now onto Josie + Peter’s lovely wedding at the Fowler Gardens in the Ambassador Camups in Pasadena. I can’t say enough good things about Josie and Peter - their warmth and love just radiates, and all their friends and family were beaming now that these two were finally married! We’re so grateful to have been able to get to know them and to have shared their day with them.
