Alex + Josh are undeniably, madly in love! They both had an enormous smile the whole wedding day, and couldn’t take their eyes off each other. They were married at the Bel Air Presbyterian Church and held their reception at the Cicada in downtown Los Angeles. Kathy of Save The Date Events did a lovely job of coordinating, stunning florals by Shirvan Designs and TC Traffic Jam from De Bois Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all night long! Complete with a UCLA themed grand exit!
Katie and Jake are so sweet and totally in love! We started shooting in Katie’s old stomping grounds around Old Town Orange and ended up playing under freeway overpasses and with a kite…and we were blessed with the most gorgeous light! We can’t wait to shoot their wedding next year at the Fullerton Arboretum!

Jessica + Andrew were a dream couple to shoot - just sweet and totally in love and up for anything - even being showered with pollen. We know the wedding photos will be just as fun and can’t wait for you to come and work your magic on our big day! Oh, and we are still picking out pompous grass “snow” out of our hair! But it was so worth it- if not for the fabulous photos than at least for the laughs! Extra props to Isaac for shaking the crap out of those suckers.

Karissa + DW’s wedding was held at Box Eight Studio, an artsy industrial venue in downtown LA. Their theme of succulents, rich fall colors, and peacocks went so well with the venue, and there were so many amazing, unique details at their wedding, from the hand designed invitations to to the custom tailored suits, it was impossible to narrow down just a few for the blog! For the table arrangements, the couple grew all the succulents for their wedding in their own backyard, and at the ceremony, the couple poured olive oil and balsamic vinegar together. In place of a wedding cake, there was a full display of delicious bundt cakes (we had to do a taste test by the end of the night, and they were so moist and yummy!) Instead of a getaway vehicle, the couple walked a block down the road and took the metro blue line to Union Station…of course, we followed along to get some awesome shots! It was such pleasure documenting their wedding day and their love for each other!
We hung out with Gwen + David last week, and had so much fun getting to know the two of them. We can’t wait to shoot their wedding next year at Union Station!
